NEW RACK PLATING LINE

Nottingham Zinc Group has recently completed the installation of a major new alkaline zinc rack line.  The computer-controlled line is fully automated and significantly increases zinc plating capacity at the company's Nottinghamshire plant.

The plant, which has been purpose-designed around NZG's plating process,  is the latest outcome of a strategic commitment to invest heavily in new technology and processes to meet the requirements of the market head-on.

"We want to keep building on the good long term relationships we have with our clients by offering them an increasingly attractive service", says Blayne Flint, the Nottingham Zinc Group Managing Director.  "Our greatest strength is the quality of our product and this places us in a strong position to exploit new market opportunities where we find them."

The plant represents the latest in a long series of investments by Nottingham Zinc Group in new plant to meet the requirements of greener processes and demands for higher quality.  The new rack line allows NZG to offer its clients a plating service for larger items such as the new style 32 inch wide shopping trolley.  The company has zinc plated over 150,000 shopping trolleys for the major retailers in the last five years.
